On a dairy adventure we visited the Cornish Cheese Company, who makes the most wonderful blue cheese. Designed to be eaten as quite a young cheese, its taste is completely different from the traditional English blue cheeses such as Stilton.
The blueing occurs by piercing the cheeses each week with stainless steel rods, allowing in air which helps the blue mould spread right through each cheese. This delicious cheese has won many awards, such as, the Best Blue & Best English Cheese 2007 and gold at the British Cheese Awards; making it a perfect cheese to have in your wedding cheesecake.

It has just been announced that a new cheese from Ashley Chase Estate near Dorchester, has won a prestigious national award for a well known supermarket chain. Ashley Chase Goat Cheddar filled with Cranberries has won the best flavoured cheese category. This gorgeous little cheese will be available from Tesco stores in October – I would recommend a taste!
