Over 700 varieties of British Cheese

27 Jul

The Nantwich International Cheese Show is under way again and with so many good British cheeses now available, we are able to hold our own in the worldwide cheese market, but the French still eat more cheese than we do!

Sadly, only four of our cheeses have protected name status – Stilton being one of them – it has to be made in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire or Leicestershire to carry the proud name of Stilton.

The Importance of Image

Watching the Royal tour of Canada unfold only goes to demonstrate this fact. Kate wearing a red maple leaf hat design and sporting a silver maple leaf broach (belonging to the Queen) etc. sends the right message to their hosts.

So it should be with weddings –a cake made out of whole cheeses is delicious, but when it is decorated in your chosen colours and the flowers compliment your table arrangements, or even bouquet, that is such a really special image!
